Yuria (Kimito Ayumi) puts an end to her life in Tokyo to marry Yoshiharu, the eldest son of a farmer whom she met at a matchmaking party. Yoshiharu's family home is in the countryside, and she lives with her father-in-law (Kozo), who lost his wife three years ago. Kozo warmly welcomes Yuria, who came to meet the farmer's wife shortage, as he is short of women and wives.
