    • The film is about the life of Kannappa, a hunter who becomes a Lord Shiva devotee. This was the 4th movie as a lead actor for Shivarajkumar, directed by the legendary Vijay who is known for classics like Mayura, Gandhada Gudi among others. This was the only movie in which Dr. Rajkumar, his elder son Shivarajkumar and youngest son Puneeth Rajkumar were seen together. Whereas Dr. Rajkumar’s second son Raghavendra Rajkumar was one of the producers to the movie. The movie was also the alternate version of Dr. Rajkumar’s debut movie Bedara Kannappa.
